glasses and printer
Today, my glasses broke (again) and as I said yesterday to the w.-factor: “I am ready for new glasses”, this comes in right in time. Sort of. What a strange coincidence. Need to inform my valet, though.
I am ready for new glasses because my eyes changed. And because I want a different style. Thus, we will get a new look in about a week. Until then I ‘ll use my reading glasses to fiddle around nearby objects. The new frame was love on first (blurry) sight. Expensive, though. But then: I sort of care what is in my face.
With my reading glasses, I will make samples today: Lots, lot and lots. First, I want to start pouring samples of the new kid in town, announced for end March/April: Orange Star. I do not have the labels for the new sample design, yet, but I want to make sure that I have the samples vials filled as this is the most time consuming job. Talking labels (again): I ordered another toy… a mid performance, dedicated label printer, that I will use to print lot numbers and sample labels on G01. 00109 Grip PE labels, coming custom-sized to my needs, on roles of 10000 or so. The seller says “The PF8 printers, available in direct thermal (PF8d) or thermal transfer (PF8t) versions, offer compact size, sturdiness, and silent operation, perfect for a variety of applications in retail, office, service industry and healthcare settings.”
I’ll guess we’ll add perfumery settings there.

Do we get to see your shine-ing face in these shiny, new, specs?? Looking at the endless rows of vials pictured, and that coupled w/ your stylish vision, your song is The Who`s “I Can See For Miles and Miles…“ :-) The Atl is sunny, thank you!, but the COLD fingers of Old Man Winter are back for at least a week - brrrr. Not a nice tease for our bodies to adjust back and forth to roller-coaster temps! ( Only good tease is your teaser sample sets!) What do you think of the head perfumers` comments re: restrictions as of late - do you think MAYBE a velvet revolution might be starting?? I couldn`t stop laughing hard at the Non Blonde`s need for a stiff drink, made w/“Absinthe and Oakmoss“… after reading IFRA`s Weller interview w/ the Scented Salamander! :-) Did you read, and do you agree w/ Gaia ( and yt ) ???

Hi Julie Ellen and Jen: Glasses are a good idea, but , as I need graduated lenses, expensive! Incredibly expensive. But then: you only have two eyes, once…
Hi Hotlanta Linda
Love the song of today! I am a child of the sixties. Love it. I will comment later on IFRA…

Dear Andy, about I you perfectly I understand - I carry glasses from three-year age, my God - 47 years:), the truth I had some break with contact lenses, but as a result nevertheless have returned to glasses. If all my broken glasses to combine together, it is an impressive heap:-))
I do not know as you, but I always have long process of accustoming to new glasses, irrespective of how much they are convenient.

Good morning to you, Vladimir!
A fortune for glasses it seems. It reminds me in my teeth and the money that went into them. I could buy … a car… a horse… you name it!

Ooops…forgot to click on the “submit comment”button before!
What I was saying is that I’m very excited about all those changes happening/about to happen over there! I can’t wait to get a sniff of “orange star”..because..if it’s the closest thing to your soaps as a perfume..I just NEED it!! And..that “clamping-cramping-whatever” machine you bought (last post):I like the idea of Tauer making changes..but staying in the “hand-made-zone”!
Talking about Incense rosé—I’m finally getting the juicy part!! It never seemed very clementine-ish on me..but today it does..wonderful! And I always preferred Incense Extreme…
Have a great weekend everybody!!
