test

3 hours, a cup of tea, 1 cup of coffee and a few verbal derailments later:
I managed to print on the new printer.

Test.

Wow ! I am sort of proud…

Hotlanta Linda: Any ideas what goes as song with the picture (the printer and the successful “test”). The labels are not the ones that I will use for the sample lot numbers.

Edwin McCain`s “Let It Slide“ and John Waite`s “Let`s Get Out of Here“ - McCain`s song has `Printer`s Alley` as a bar! :-0 :-) But I think that R.E.M.`s “Daysleeper“ is going to be most appropriate, if it isn`t already!! My all-time favourite version of verbal derailments is from the tv sries “Hill Street Blues“, where tough little-guy cop Mic is so polite that he makes up his own derailments as he goes along, all of them most accurate in their descriptions, but never any blue language!! Time for some of AromaX`s rosebud and lavender tea?? :-)

I figured, jogging might be best and it was, Hotlanta Linda, a nice job in winter white forests.

Question for you - what is the name of the perfumery that you love to get lost inside of for hours on end??? Btw, Marie-Helene at the Scented Salamander is formulating a second set of ???s for Mr. Weller of the IFRA - and if you go to the comments at the 1st interview`s post, you are quite encouraged by her to leave questions she can ask in the 2nd interview…Chime In!! :-)

New technology and “verbal derailments” are made for each other. But that is a seriously good looking label. Good work!

Hey!! Nice to see things are getting really interesting over there in Switzerland! (well, there, in perfume heaven, they almost always are! :) )! And that cramping-clamping-whatever-machine from the previous post looks really old-school-style to me! Lovely!
I’m absolutely crazy about sniffing Orange Star..if it’s “the most similar thing in perfume” to your soaps..then it HAS to be mine!!
A big hug with lots of Encense Rosé (today I’m getting a very juicy note right in the middle..could that be?)

Hola Everyone, hope you have a fun friday and I’m also anxiously awaiting Orange Star’s debut. :) Linda, I looked for the interview and cannot find it, must look closer on the website over the wkend…..

OK, trying for a good link : www.mimifroufrou.com/scentedsalamander/2010/01/interview_with_stephen_weller.html

Thanks Linda, just read the link–interesting…. “However, not all consumers read labels or indeed understand the information on the label.” Was thinking, why not have a campaign to educate people about the labels (they’ve done it with food so you can better read the sugar, nut content etc.) that way consumers can make the choice themselves and the perfumes won’t have to be changed? Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday.
