I am not used to posing

September 2nd, 2010

I am not used to posing for a photos in Wallpaper, hence I picked a location that compensates with flowers and colors and shapes. I proposed the Botanical Garden, where I might hide behind gigantic sunflowers or orchids, shy as always. In case of me shining through  and showing up behind the flowers, I get a haircut today. My hair looks about like the dead branches of the Swiss Alpine Fir tree seen over the weekend, and admittedly needs some trimming.

Just a bit, also for Pitti. I do not like to sit at the hair dresser, and see what is left of former beauty.

I guess for a photo in Wallpaper I will get over it.

Greetings, David, I think it is going to be a piece in a piece. thus, not too large. but we take it as it comes…

And YES, SAE: I train and train and train, but the smile won’t work properly, yet ;-)

Hi Andy, I think you are being too hard on yourself. Honestly, every photo I’ve seen of you is very nice–you look like you are being yourself (i.e. not posing) and you look very approachable. I’d say keep up what you’ve been doing. :)

Andy — a little trick from a former model. Imagine looking through the lens and try to “see” the the eye of the photographer. This reduces the possibility of the dreaded dead eye stare and can also help to relax you. Just really smile at that photographer and you will be perfect! Excited when I say Robin’s post–Rose Vermielle here I come

Your tresses are of most sincere concern to yt, so off to L`Occitane you go for Shea butter hair-care!!! (This is from the gal who needs her mane back!) These items are lightly scented w/ Jasmine and Ylang, so you won`t mind looking after your locks!! :-) Confidence in your self, perfume product, and dreams will beat the Shy out every time – just show `em what you`ve GOT!! CRANK UP the music – it`s the theme to the off-off-Broadway musical “HAIR“!! :-0 :-)

Andy, congrats on making Wallpaper. I can’t wait to see you in it’s pages! For what it’s worth, I thought your haircut looked great in the Orange Star video interview you did a few months back. Not to raise the ire of my fellow commenters, but I prefer your short locks. Smile big for the camera!

Greetings to you, Julie Ellen and thank you! This is a great trick and I will search for the photographer’s eyes behind the lens. Great!

Will give my best, smiling really BIG, Chris. The W.-factor always says the same. no locks , please. ;-(

Greetings , Hotlanta Linda and thanks, too!
