hopping around

March 2nd, 2012

Today, I am hopping around from here to there and back again. Like a bunny in spring, I guess. And actually, it feels very much like spring today.

This, and the good feeling that comes with the fact that there is now enough juice for 6500 bottles stored in the cellars of tauerville. Those of you who are on facebook can see the 13 12 liter bottles there in my mobile uploads before the aluminum bottles go and hide again in the dark . And yet, there is more fragrance to be made in the coming weeks:
Loretta, the next fragrance in the Tableau de Parfums(R) line will see the world in a few weeks, and will be diluted after a month maturation. Then I need to mix more ZETA, a linden blossom theme. And one or two others.

Thus, it feels like spring today and we are ready to jump into it.

Enjoy!

I think you should plait some daffodils into your hair before you start hopping ;-)

    Have a great weekend.

I’m glad it feels like spring somewhere. We had snow all day yesterday and everything is frozen over now. That photo of the crocuses is pretty. I had planted about a hundred bulbs a few years ago and since then the squirrels have eaten almost every one.
Enjoy your weather and your weekend!

Agree w/ Persolaise!! :-) With all the intense work you`ve been doing, you need a weekend off to play in your garden of plants and extracts!! I want a Nici bunny of my own :-) Might the soap scent also be a liquid form too?? Music from Crowded House – “Always Take the Weather With You“:-)

Instead of soap cakes which are heavyweight for shipping … how about a special line of exquisite Perfume Oils ? Tiny and potent – lightweight for shipping. Have a nice evening.

Its felt like spring here too many days this winter. As a snowboarder, ive been so disappointed with this season. Not a single day of decent snow. On the plus side, i won Cologne du Maghreb from your giveaway, ive received L’Air du Desert Marocain as a Christmas gift, and i currently have 4 or 5 new samples on the way. This is definitely the winter of Tauer for me, and i love it. I wish i could just quit my job and move to Switzerland and apprentice under you tutelage and learn everything you know about perfumery.

Hi Rictor07, well, to be frank: I am not sure I would tell you what I know. :-)

the way is the goal. this is true for perfumery, too. On a serious note: I get a lot of questions from perfume lovers who want to learn to make their own perfumes. They want to know all from me, presented on a silver plate. I stopped sharing there and always state that the way is the goal. You need to learn, train, fail, fail, and fail again. No easy shortcut. And even if it existed: Not half the fun. Cheers from Zurich in spring.

Hi Andy, I was wondering: how much juice do you loose when you poured it all? I mean, that amount that inevitably remains on the bottle walls and bottom. I guess it depends on the viscosity of the fluid.
