The autumn colors this year are stunning. And as we did not have any storms or heavy rain in the last few weeks but cool nights that push to trees into color changing mode: Lots of trees exploded in colors. Ready for winter’s grip. But, if you watch closely, you can see that for every leave dying in red and yellow flames, there is a little bud, a promise for spring.

While you do your reading and praying for winning the Duftarchive draw, I sniff new raw materials that I just got. All Carbon dioxide extracts. I needed to reorder some Vanilla CO2 (dream stuff, dream stuff, dream stuff!) and lots of my CO2 Incense (Boswellia serrata) that you find in the INCENSE ROSÉ AND INCENSE EXTRÊME, for next year’s batches from my German high tech Carbon dioxide extract supplier. And, as I needed to get a quality test sample anyhow: I ordered more samples from them:

Curcuma Longa, Fennel bitter, and pink pepper (Schinus terebenthifolius). The fennel is a much as fennel as you can imagine. The pink pepper is dream stuff, so soft and elegant, so gentle and so, peppery. This I love: searching and trying new raw materials. I’ll bet: We will come back to the pink pepper again! It is such a lovely head note. You can get an idea what it smells like by simply crushing pink pepper. Enjoy!
